27-12-2021 09:40 PM in. I have just purchased a tab a7 running android 11 and was wondering if it supports otg. I have an external hub ( powered ) but when I plug it in I get nothing and the file manager shows nothing. There is no usb connection heading in settings. I am unfamiliar with android and need to know what to do if I want it to work.

And a USB Driver works only on Android 9.0 and higher. Check OTG Settings. In many devices, there comes an “OTG setting” that needs to be enabled to connect the phone with external USB appliances. Usually, when you try to connect an OTG, you get an alert “Enable OTG”. This is when you need to turn the OTG option ON.
