It could be the the thermostat stuck closed. The engine will heat up quickly and overheat. The thermostat is located in the front of the engine above the oil filler cap. You have to remove the alternator to get to it and it is held in with 4 bolts. The fan comes on only when the engine is very hot.

Marie B December 28, 2020. Resetting the start stop option in the Ford Fiesta is easy to do. It will only take about 4 to 7 minutes of Your time. The first thing You will need to do is open the driver's side door, and get inside. Put Your key in the ignition, and turn it to the on position. Make sure that You do not accidentally start the engine. The screen wash pump is controlled by the BCM (body control module). The same pump does the front and rear screen. It runs clockwise for one screen and anti-clocwise for the other. The common fault when these stop working is a fault with the BCM, normally water gets in to the connectors and the pins corrode. Quote. On the sync screen, press the menu button. Press the down arrow button until sync settings displays on the screen. Press ok.
